Live Music – Mason’s Apron

Mason’s Apron was formed in 2009 with the purpose of playing traditional Irish and Newfoundland music . They make their shows fun by playing many upbeat party/drinking songs but also like to throw in a few slower tunes to balance the mood. The band consists of Cathy Fowler, a fiddler from Newfoundland who has played internationally, and of Patrick Patenaude, an Ottawa local who plays the bodhran, the guitar and serves as lead vocalist.
